A few days before Candice and Joe’s editorial, we drove up to the Inn and town of Serenbe, to capture their 7 year anniversary portraits. The beautiful town and inn, resembles the country side of Italy and is located 40 minutes outside of Atlanta. I’m still in awe of how it was the perfect backdrop for their love and story!
My goals for this time with them were to create timeless but modern fashion, surrounding an Italian inspired location and editorial vibes & Serenbe delivered!
Candice wore the Montreal Crepe Maxi Dress from BHLDN along with their elegant croft earrings
While I selected pieces for Joe from Asos Man, he included a Jcrew boutonnière that he wore on his wedding day. This was the perfect accessory to his double breasted blazer, patterned tie and carrot fit trousers. Each piece was carefully selected and provided the fashion forward look to be beside his bride.
Upon arrival the couple intentionally took time to enjoy the scenery and we transitioned to the town where we would begin portraits in spots that I selected as backdrops.
The White backdrop, Arch that framed the staircase framed their love and connection perfectly and led us to another arch in the town wear we would capture movement and individual portraits.
After their individual portraits we were just in time for the sunset at Serenbe farms where the bride would find much solace as it reminded her of where her sister lives overseas.
The joy, connection and love between them was so evident throughout the day and it would end perfectly as the exchanged handwritten vows to each other after 7 years of marriage.
The moment was intimate filled with meaning, joy and gratitude that would lead us to their last moments right as the sun was setting.
Days and moments couldn’t have happened without amazing vendors that I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside. The flowers by Warren and Forest, Hair by Jillian Hall and Make up by Kathy were the perfect team and I salute them for their artistry.
To Serenbe, thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful grounds that would create lasting memories to Candice and Joe as they continue their journey of love, legacy and purpose.
It was one of my greatest honors to capture these moments and I couldn’t be more thankful for this occasion as I look forward for the ones to come.
