I “Interviewed” this beloved couple about their sweet story. And I’d like to think that when each of my couples shares their story theirs is their favorite.
Here’s Liz and Grant story, if yours is still being written, I hope this puts a promising smile on your face today.
Where did you first meet?
Tin Lizzy’s was our first date. Afterwards we went to Barnes and Noble and looked at books for hours.
What made you realize you couldn’t spend your life with anyone else?
Grant’s kindness and patience were unlike anything I had ever seen. The peace I have when I am around him was a big reason I realized I wanted to spend my life with him.
How long have you been together and what’s been the best parts?
We have been together 3 1/2 years. The best parts have been time spent with each of our families and all of the hikes we have been on. He has been able to push me to do things I didn’t think I could do.
What are you most looking forward to in your new life together?
Having someone to build my life with that I can rely on and who will always push me to grow and become more like Christ.
What’s one thing that you overcame as a couple that you are proud of?
Selfishness. I think it can be so easy to feel as though our way of doing things is the best way. We have learned over the years to be open minded and compromise. It’s not worth arguing over silly stuff.
What are you most looking forward to at your wedding?
The reception! We are having a morning wedding with breakfast and lawn games. I LOVE breakfast and I think it will be great fellowship with our family.
This couple is so so sweet and I hope you’ve heard their heart. Their shoot was just as sweet and adventurous in one of the favorites spots. I wish October were sooner so we can shoot their wedding but ah yes..alas we must wait.
